PNWHS RMC ("we", "us", "the Society") operates a digital society management system for residents of PNWHS Bin Qasim, Karachi, including a resident mobile application and an administrative web portal. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.
Information We Collect
- Resident identity information: full name, CNIC, mobile number, email address, and permanent address (where provided during registration).
- Property information: house number, sector, ownership/tenancy records.
- Financial information: challan and payment records, payment method used, and transaction references. We do not store full card numbers or banking passwords — these are handled directly by our licensed payment gateway partner where applicable.
- Uploaded documents: CNIC copies, allotment letters, transfer deeds, and similar documents submitted by residents for verification purposes.
- Usage information: login activity and basic device information for security purposes.
How We Use This Information
- To generate and manage monthly maintenance, water, and security fee challans.
- To verify resident and property ownership records.
- To process and confirm payments, including through our payment gateway partner.
- To respond to complaints, NOC requests, and visitor pass requests.
- To send important notifications and announcements relevant to residents.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell resident data to third parties. Information may be shared with:
- Our licensed payment gateway partner, solely to process payments you initiate.
- RMC office staff and authorized administrators, for legitimate society management purposes.
- Government or regulatory authorities, only where required by law.
Data Security
We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/SSL), access-controlled administrative accounts, and session-based authentication to protect resident data. Uploaded documents and payment proofs are stored securely and accessed only by authorized RMC staff for verification purposes.
Data Retention
We retain resident and property records for as long as the resident remains a registered member of the society, and as required for financial record-keeping obligations thereafter.
Your Rights
Residents may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information (subject to our legal and financial record-keeping obligations) by contacting the RMC office directly.
